I couldn’t have said it better myself, that is exactly how it is, for myself. Much more predictable, rain is fun, havnt tried snow yet.

With a normal differential, the wheel on the inside of the turn has to rotate less than the wheel on the outside. I have drove a welded for 2 years now. Mine is still going 5 years strong now with the new owner. Also the output shafts may be 5 bolt outputs, so the axles may also need to be changed from the stock 6 bolt axles. But they are discontinued now.
Low speed turns it makes a lot of noise I don’t go through tires too bad either.

I was first of the group that Scottie rb25drag welded for. It’s fun but can get expensive with tires. Notice in the picture above how the red line racing line is the straightest of all three lines.
I run welded on track and switch to open if I drive on the street. If so I probaly don’t wanna waste my time putting it on. I difff off tires to fast to really give you a good idea at life span. Driving in the rain sucks donkey balls. They are independent publications and are not affiliated with or endorsed by Nissan or Infiniti. All I can say is that I loved it.
